Data for adjustment and maintenance
Due to the installation on engines of system of electronic injection of fuel also two types of routine maintenance changed: replacement of the fuel filter, and also check and adjustment of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine idling. The recommended frequency of service same, as well as for models of earlier releases.
The power supply system is under pressure. Before separation of elements of system it is necessary to take off pressure in system. For this purpose close the place of separation by pure rags and, being careful, smoothly unscrew a connecting nut.
Gasoline is extremely flammable, during the work with elements of a power supply system it is forbidden to use fire, the sparking devices opened by fire-dangerous devices of lighting, smoking. It is necessary to avoid emergence of sparks during the work with wires and electric devices.
As gasoline is cancerogenic substance, it is necessary to exclude its hit on a body and a paint and varnish covering of the car. Otherwise it is necessary to wash out immediately an affected area water with soap.
Replacement of the fuel filter
According to the instruction of manufacturer on models with system of injection of fuel the fuel filter it is necessary
to change through each 55 000 km of a run of the car.
Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.
The fuel filter is installed on the left forward cup of the shock-absorber about a tank of the main brake cylinder.
Prepare enough rags for absorption of the spilled gasoline. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the case of the filter (on one from each party) or weaken collars and remove hoses (fig. 15.1, 15.2). Merge the fuel remains from the filter.
Turn off nuts of fastening of an arm of the filter to a cup of the shock-absorber and remove the filter.
Install the new filter with an arm and fix by nuts.
Establish new copper laying on both end faces of the case and tighten bolts of fastening of covers the required moment.
On models 1986 and 1987 of years of release this operation is carried out after the run of the first 3500 km, and then through each 25 000 km. On release models since 1988 the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft is idling regulated by automatically processor control unit.
Adjustment of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine idling
Connect a tachometer to the engine. On the engine which is warmed up up to the working temperature after installation of the lever of the selector in situation "parking" or "neutral" during
3 min. increase the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine up to 2500-Z000 min.-1.
Check installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition and if necessary adjust it.
If the car is operated at the height up to 1300 m above sea level, disconnect the socket of the perepuskny electromagnetic valve.
If the cooling system fan works, transfer the engine to the mode of idling and wait for a fan stop.

Check the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft idling. If it does not correspond to demanded, adjust it, rotating the screw on the case of the air gate (fig. 15.3).
If the socket of the electromagnetic valve was disconnected, connect it.
