Mazda 626/MX-6
Mazda 626 — car model which was made by the Japanese company Mazda for the export market. It was based on the Mazda Capella model produced mainly for the Japanese market. Replaced with Mazda 626 models 616/618 and RX-2 in 1979 and was on sale up to 2002 when the family of the Mazda cars was filled up by Mazda6. In total on the world 4 345 279 cars of this model, including under the name "Ford Telstar" were sold.Mazda 626 was also on sale as Ford Telstar in Asia, Australia and South Africa, but it was replaced with the Ford Mondeo car released in Europe later. Whereas in Europe the produced model was always the big size, in North America the first two generations of the 626th were compact cars, and the third, fourth and fifth generations — cars of the average size.
